Venue

The conference will take place at the Villa Cambiaso in Genoa. Conference talks will be held in the “Piano Nobile” room, while participant registration and coffee breaks will take place in the surrounding common areas.

Villa Cambiaso (also known as Villa Giustiniani-Cambiaso) is one of the finest Renaissance villas in Genoa’s Albaro district. Designed in 1548 by Galeazzo Alessi for the noble Giustiniani family, it became a model for many later Genoese villas. The building is noted for its elegant symmetrical façade, frescoed interiors, and a large park that originally extended almost to the sea. Today, the villa is part of the University of Genoa, one of the oldest universities in Europe, founded in 15th century.
